How Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition's mash-up series captures gaming pop-culture

While Minecraft is an extremely recognizable game in its own right, earning its place in the pop-culture of gaming, fans of 4J Studios’ Xbox 360 version of the game have been given the opportunity to combine the visuals of the popular block building title with those of other hit video game franchises thanks to the recent addition of the mash-up pack series to the console edition of the game

By taking the creative freedom of Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition and placing it inside the familiar settings of other well-known gaming franchises like Mass Effect and Skyrim, 4J Studios has given gamers a chance to explore the games included within any mash-up pack in a brand new way. Everything seems familiar but ultimately different. It’s like paying homage to a game inside another game. (Minecraft, Xbox 360)
