I just hope they can patch and fix the game, after all the hype such a disappointment.

they made 127M$ of it, how is that puny?.
my opinion in the game, they ripped us all with the trailers.

Castle was playing Starhawk the other day.

Anyhow, Rome 2 is less of a mess than it was after the 4 updates but it is not even close to the CA trailers we got.

PC sales are not all about DAY 1. 800k is pretty decent for PC. As PC titles sell in waves more so than first 3 months blitz like console games are judged and sold. As most PC gamers are more selective and value titles for many years to come after they are launched.

It has been being patched since the first week. They have released multiple patches and are still doing so until everything is fixed.

I'm waiting for a Steam sale though, as I'm short on funds and every time I buy a new game on steam it goes on sale like 2 weeks later for %50 off or something.

at least 20% would be nice.

Also they just added the culture pack DLC with 3 new factions.

And it's heading to Linux which means it will sell even more. :)

I've almost given into temptation of buying it, but I'll wait till christmas sale. By then it should be properly patched & optimized with sales price.

Yeah, It seems more like money hungry.

Bring it to next-gen consoles and see sales soar!!!

I would buy it
On PS4 in a heartbeat.

LOL it wouldn't sell on "next gen" consoles as you really do need mouse and keyboard.

It's not an action/adventure game but a proper PC RTS game.

Always a firmware update away.
The PS3 supported mouse and keyboard combination.
