New Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Screenshots Show New Hairstyles

Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn patch 2.1 is going to bring a whole lot of new content in December, including a beauty salon for players to re-customize their characters.

The beauty salon is going to come packed with new hairstyles for players to enjoy, and today Square Enix released new screenshots showcasing two of the hairdos that will become available then. (Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, PC, PS3, PS4)

If this thing goes free to play, I will definitely give it a shot.
As it stands, I have not the justification of a monthly fee, if only for the fact that I don't have the time to take advantage of it.

"""@GentlemenRU s: It has nothing to do with greed. We're getting what we pay for."""

Is the DLC free? If not then I fail to see the purpose of a monthly fee. Keeping the servers running? They can pay for a full year with just a single month's profit from all the members they have and if the rest is to pay for the DLC then what's the DLC price for?

If the DLC is infact free than I shall accept that my inquiry is flawed.

they already stated that they would prefare shutting down server than going f2p so dont count on it

How is it greedy to pay your employees to continue to work on a game that people are paying to play?

I wish my house went F2p! These 10 bucks on a good MMO?? I couldn't care less. Great game.

I for one think that the price is justified. It gives me a lot of entertainment for $15 a month.

FF11 is still paid this will last....honestly I've never been an mmo person especially paid subs but I love this. So much for my money and I work nearly 80 hours a week =/ so not too much time on my hands either but still great =]

Well, content is coming (and looks good, and sounds really interesting), server maintenance is regularly held, and improvements have been noticed. It's not that expensive, considering how cheap the game itself was to purchase (if you'll play this game more than any other game in your collection, why not?).

It's worth the money, if players feel they'll enjoy it over the course of which they paid for.

going to try this out when it comes to ps4

It's free. I don't think that there's anything in the game that you need to purchase extra EXTRA (as in: game, monthly fee, THEN microtransaction). In about a year, there'll be enough content to justify anyone's monthly payment.

yes I literally had to log on to reply to Lord Sloth's comment. These expansions are FREE this is why we pay a monthly subscription we get all updates free of charge! i love this game by the way I'm a lvl 50 paladin first time tanking in any MMO. Working on gearing right now!
