As we draw nearer to Blizzcon, where Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls is going to be of primary focus, the Diablo 3 website has been releasing some posts about Westmarch, the location of Act 5. Today they’ve posted an article on the actual level design! For those of you who don’t know, Westmarch was a large metropolis that has since fallen prey to Malthael’s destructive force. It seems that in the spirit of the dark and haunted nature of Diablo 2, Westmarch will be “the site of a haunted apocalypse.” The level design is largely “Western European and Gothic.” Blizzard themselves describe it as a “dark and foreboding city.”
Paul writes: "What makes a great game? Is it length of story? Is it replayability? I think the key to a really great game is one that keeps sucking you back in even if you've played the thing to death."
