The PGA TOUR Series: Where Do We Go From Here?

At this point very little is known about how EA will handle its next release, just that it will continue its partnership with the PGA TOUR and that they will continue to give golf fans what they always loved – authentic courses and players, but also want to focus on “more choice and customization in how and where they play”. What does this mean for the series? Today I’d like to break down my top 5 ideas for where I think the PGA series could go next, and how it can succeed without Tiger’s name and on a new batch of console hardware based on the info EA SPORTS has given us so far. (EA, PS4, Xbox One)

the ability to create custom courses!!! that's the thing that i've wanted for years.. and a big reason why i stopped buying the games. Every year, it was most of the same courses, with a few new game gimmicks. hopefully, this will be part of the game in the future

I agree. PC golf games had course creators 10 years ago. I also want the ability to walk or ride to my next shot like GTA V.

I would love that as an option. It would add so much extra playability. Just so long as they don't throw it in as an extra, and actually make sure it's a good editor. Giving the right tools to the players will keep your game played for years to come. Creativity will flourish if given the opportunity. Just look at Little Big Planet for example. That game has millions of user created levels. There should be an editor in just about every game... Regardless of the genre. It just adds so much value.
