WhatIfGaming writes: "Microsoft partnered with nonprofit organization Companions in Courage results in the delivery of hundreds of Xbox 360 kiosks to children's hospitals across the US..."
Like drug pushers who give away free samples to entice the innocent. This "might" be viewed as indoctrinating the most vulnerable members of society, ie sick children. However, a good deed is a good deed, and it should bring some happy moments to sick kids. This might be a naive question but does Microsoft have enough money to stop world hunger?
out of Nintendo's book...lol
UMmmm MS has probably donated 100x what Nintendo has to Charity.

Ontopic: anything to get in the news with a positive image. Costs them nothing and is booked as marketing activity and covered by tax refunds .. boy oh boy "charity" is cheap nowadays ... Reading the press release.. people are asked to DONATE MONEY so Microsoft installs the systems ?? WTF ? charity turned business all of a sudden ...
and this is a joke With these new 360's will be a book called Stop Drop and Roll
Not much of a joke. But, it's all good.
Good job Microsoft. I have a close friend who's child is going thru treatment and believe me when you spend hours/days in these hospitals anything like this is a welcome relief.
Good move MS :)

Man are you guys hard. This is a free gift for the children. MS even went through the trouble of setting up a private Xbox Live network for the kids to play. Yet, all you guys do is complain. How about contributing to society instead of wasting everyone's time with your negativity.
It's about time someone says that. MS is doing something nice and all people are doing is criticizing them.
what about the RROD victims, r they blind?
People criticize Microsoft because its like a rich guy throwing a starving kid a dollar. They afford to give a little more. Like games and a TV with the 360.
Sony went to Ruunta in Kenya and provided residents with free televisions and PS3s to raise awareness about Hodkins Disease. Sony is the heart felt company that this world needs. I heard they donated $300 to the heart and stroke foundation in Canada. GODS THEY ARE!!
