Yes, the PC continues to push the boundaries of technical excellence, even in the shadow of new console releases.
Oh boy... don't tell they are going to start comparing graphics between PC, X1 and PS4 versions of this game in the near future. I think we've had enough of that crap with BF4 graphic comparisons.
I really can't agree enough with this comment. I am beyond exhausted on the graphical comparisons. They get way too much traction in our nodern gaming world.
Still the graphics are pretty underwhelming. The foliage looked nice and the sand look nice. But the buildings just look very last gen. And the character model and character movement look exactly the same as last gen.
@mike dude the textures and models of the characters just look terrible. They standout because of their muddy textures compared to the detailed boats or sand. Seriously they could've upgraded the characters a little.
Graphical comparisons are great for multiconsole owners and those looking to buy the system that provides the best multiplats. But as for me I'm more interested in Songs support with exclusives which is why I'm getting a PS4. The PS4 being 100$ cheaper and more powerful than the Xbox One is just a nice bonus to me. Maybe if the differences in multiplats were more extreme it would matter. If it was always one system trouncing the other no issue on a large scale. For instance if the discrepancy was always on the level of Bayonetta sure. The details and differences here are things you only notice if you look for them though. People are way too entrenched in these conparisons. For the majority its not going to matter. People will buy for their respective console and play the game regardless. Knowing these tiny differences doesn't really aid in enjoyment. Unless of course you are one of those people who just revel in having a slightly better version.
I just cant frigging wait for this game to come out, my PC is burning with impatience!
i dont get it, are you mentally handicap? obsessive compulsive? you do realize you dont have to watch graphic comparisons right? you do have the freedom of choice, atleast in america to not watch them, making you, ding ding ding IGNORANT!!!!!!
Yeah, but I'll need to spend £2000 for minimal returns...
£2000!!! ... that must be one hell of a PC.
It does NOT cost 3 grand to make a strong PC for gaming. How many times must this be said? Have you even parted together a PC on Newegg? You should do that before making any more uninformed comments.
u can also buy 2nd hand gaming pc
Build my pc for 900£ .. and i max out bf4 and almost every game there is on the market.
im calling your bluff, you must play at a very weak resolution and not have a dx11 card to max bf4 out on pc. i know from experience especially since bf4 is not sli optimised i highly doubt your maxing out the game and getting playable framerates. unless you have a gtx 780 or a titan i wont believe you period, i have a 690 which is more powerful than a titan, i have first hand experience in this.
I'm a graphics whore so it's PC all the way for me. I'm not a fanboy, I'm a slut for graphics. I don't care if this game came out on a system called the shit box and it looked and smelled like a human turd and was made by Apple. I would still buy it if I had the money. Good thing My PC is ready for it.
I remember Assassin's Creed III having great graphics for the PC... Except for the fact that the major cities (Boston & New York City) slowed to a crawl due to poor optimization. It was never fixed. How About this: Forget showing off your amazing graphics - make sure the actual game RUNS SMOOTHLY!
PS4 games seem to be pretty much on par with PC right now. Obviously that will change this time next year when there are more powerful parts for PC but I'll never understand the need to pay 5x as much as a console costs just for slightly better graphics.
understand the need? its all about lifestyle, if you can afford a farrari then why drive a pinto? if you can afford an expensive gaming pc then why not play the games the best they can be experienced, judging by your reply i will say you have very little life experience and this is coming from someone who is fresh out of their 20's. And ill tell you now, their is nothing slight about the graphical difference when you see these games first hand, that shows how you have even less experience with what you say, just because you cannot afford a good pc doesnt mean its not worth it.
Another thing to consider when viewing streaming video of games is: We have reached the point where graphics have "outpaced" internet video standards. Meaning yes you can see some of the differences in these videos, but AC IV on PC looks far better than what is represented here. Trust me, I spent a good deal of time with the build at New York Comic Con.
