iFruit App gets Hundreds of Negative Reviews on Android

The iFruit app for Grand Theft Auto V has finally arrived on Android, but it's hardly been the celebratory announcement it should have been. Over 400 people have given it three stars or less, with over 300 of those reviews giving it only a single star. (Android, Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto: iFruit, PS3, Xbox 360)

The app is slow, glitchy, and late as hell. Can't say I blame people for giving it bad reviews.

Not to mention that it's incompatible with some high-end phones.

Plus some people already completed the game.

Well with the two weeks they gave everyone before releasing gta online, I would certainly hope some people already completed the game. I have an iPhone but even then the app was useless thanks to all the problems. I was around 75-80% done with single player when they finally got it working.

I don't blame them either. I almost have the urge to download it just to give it 1 star, but I'm not gonna do that.

I know my opinion to rockstar is useless but they should have dropped the whole thing altogether. The only cool thing is the license plate. The dog games are really pointless unless you use chop all the time (which is cool when he rides with you) the car customization on it is useless because u can't see anything your buying. Cool concept but needed a lot of work

I agree. The only thing I got out of this was the license plate thing, which come to think of it could have easily been included in the actual game or online via Social Club. The app was for the most part not needed at all for this - or ANY of the car stuff.

The only thing the App serves any purpose for is training Chop to do a few tricks, find items better (debatable) and get different collars. Who really cares? I'm a completionist and after futzing with the Chop app for a few days, I gave up even bothering because it was not contributing much to the actual game itself.

Funny thing about the plates, I chose "SPAWNED" as my plate without thinking of the irony in the fact that the players' signature vehicles literally spawn when switching between them or before and after missions. I chose it for the obvious meaning in my nickname, but it had an unintended double meaning.

They should be given time to get this right. People these days give up too easy and get lazy.... As technology gets more advanced and complex, these things will happen. I think they deserve patience. I do understand, even the IOS version sucked first week, but I simply waited... Now I could care less about chops now...

Given time to get it right? They had 5 years. They should have released all versions of the app on launch day. If the apps features (training Chop, reserving license plates) were available inside the game itself, it wouldn't have been a big problem. But they aren't. Every license plate I try to order is already taken now. I already beat the game and Chop was useless throughout every second of it.

its laggy, glitchy, can't even do some things right. I have a galaxy S3 no excuse for that on that phone.

My note 2 was lagging so bad. Playing with chop was so frustrating.

Too late, Rockstar.

iFruit is making fun of Apple, yet the iPhone is the one who gets the app a month before the other?

Thanks, Rockstar.

This.

It's pretty shitty overall. The license plate customization is cool, but that could of been done in game. The dog training is annoying as it continuously bugs you to attend to him. And the snapmatic photos are ok, but kind of a pain to get to and navigate.

It's so bad. Horrible, Horrible, and Horrible.
