PGNx: Gran Turismo 5: Prologue Review

PGNx writes: "Gran Turismo 5: Prologue is exactly what the title claims: a prologue, an introduction to what will eventually become Gran Turismo 5. Accordingly, the game is short on content and aimed squarely at the Gran Turismo loyal.

Structurally, GT5: Prologue doesn't venture too far from the typical Gran Turismo formula. You begin the game with 35,000 credits, which is enough to buy a decent car like the Mazda RX-8 or the Ford Focus ST. You'll earn credits by winning races, which you can then use to purchase new cars, or participate in series to win exclusive cars. As you win races, you'll also be able to access new event classes, which will reward you with progressively more credits. There are about 30 events in all with a steady and rewarding learning curve. The events themselves include the expected races and time trials, as well as more interesting events. Unlike previous games, you can't upgrade car parts in Prologue or need to complete license tests before you're allowed to race."

The story is too old to be commented.
