The Xbox One Tour Event Venue in Atlanta is Big, Sleek, and As Green as it Can Possibly Get

The Xbox One Tour event is currently going on in Atlanta, and for the occasion Microsoft built a pretty damn sleek venue, including scenic glass cases holding controllers turned into art, an afro-empowered live DJ and a lot of Xbox One demo stations.

They also bathed the whole venue in what has to be the most intense green light known to man.

I just left the event and it is not that bad

I am not fond of the controller because it is too small. The thumbsticks, and the rumble in the controllers are nice though, just wish the kept the original size.

Had the most fun playing Killer Instinct, once I figured out a few moves/combos....I was in love. Ryse was cool and looked amazing, I felt like I was in a scene from Gladiator. Dead Rising was "meh" to me, but I can see someone having a lot of fun with that, if they are into those kinds of games, where you senlessly run around and do random stuff. Story mode is what I wanna see.

Forza was a normal car game...but the in cockpit view was awesome.

I feel like the rumble in the controller is the most underated feature for next gen.

The refresh rate on those tv's at the event are horrible. I cannot wait to play these games on my tv...especially Ryse.

That acid green color makes me wanna puke. :(

They really, REALLY need to change it to a better shade of green.

Those that haven't seen it in person, all I can say's really really green. Some sort of break within the green would be welcome...because damn, it's really freakin' green. The game cases aren't too bad though, as the green is only along the borders.

I dunno, maybe they were using a really old version of paint that only had three shades of green....but still they picked the worst shade of the three.

Or perhaps their monitors brightness and contrast was set to low so the green they picked was actually darker, but the bright color green is what went to the printer.

I'm really trying to figure out why they would go with this shade of green. It's not appealing at all. If you've seen the console display set up with all the peripherals and stuff in person, you'll know what I'm talking about.

I don't mean to say anything bad about the console itself here, this is an entirely independent criticism. The color of the packaging material is about as important as how the console looks IMO.
