NBA LIVE 14: EA Sports on ball handling

During E3 this past June EA Sports exhibited a key item in regards to its upcoming next-generation pro basketball video game, NBA LIVE 14: dribbling.

In short, rather than having pre-rendered animations and approximations to show a basketball in use on the court, EA Sports is making the ball its own entity complete with its own physics thanks to the company's new Ignite Engine. That stated, it should come as little surprise that ball handling in the upcoming game might be a bit different than in NBA LIVE games of the past. (NBA Live 14, PS4, Xbox One)
