NYCC 2013: Interview with Wildstar’s David Bass

"Last week while making our way through New York’s Comic Con, the wife and I stumbled across Carbine’s impressive Wildstar booth. For those of you who haven’t heard of Wildstar, it’s an insanely ambitious new MMO complete with telegraph targeting, player housing, tongue-in-cheek humor, and an amazing art style that comes across as a breath of fresh air in today’s gritty world. I had been keeping up with the game and all the DevSpeak blogs here, which are highly entertaining in their own right.

Having missed the opportunity to catch them at SDCC, I got wildly excited (ba-dum-ching) at the opportunity to finally get my hands on the game. You see, I’m not the only one looking forward to this game, and beta keys are hard to come by. Figuring our beta keys must have gotten lost in the mail we promptly made our way to the booth to play the game and rectify that. What we got instead was this impromptu interview. I’d call that a win!" (PC, Wildstar)
