PS4's Processing Power and Memory Helps Sculpt Different Encounters In Killzone Shadow Fall

"The last entry in the series, Killzone 3 was extremely vibrant and colorful in its art direction and now its successor, Killzone Shadow Fall will not only have breathtaking vistas but also promises to deliver different encounters and user experiences, according to the game's designer, Eric Boltjes." (Killzone: Shadow Fall, PS4)

Over the past two days, this game has become my most anticipated. After watching the newest multiplayer demo, something I usually don't care about, it will not only bring me back to multiplayer after 10 years... but also mimic the gorgeous visuals from single player. I think, for the first time in console history, we arent going to see much of a difference graphically... Between single and multiplayer. At least, judging from the newest multiplayer video.

I cannot wait to play both this and Knack. Launch day cant come fast enough.

I was excited for the PS4 from before it was announced... No games from release really got me. KZ was my launch game but it didn't have me hyped. After the last couple of weeks I cannot wait to get my hands on this game. It looks amazing.

And yet, the amazing part is that in a few years we will look back at Killzone: SF and say: Damn that game looks so outdated!

Normally I'd agree with you. I didn't actually press disagree, but I do think both PS3 Killzones remained at least near the top of the heap all through the PS3's life, so it's very possible what you're saying won't happen. Still, it's usually a sure thing that launch titles will end up looking dated, so we'll see.

They hid this game most all year and waited until 3 weeks before the console comes out, lol. If they would have done like AC4 has done and shown something throughout the weeks/months. This game pre orders would have been insane. It's nice to finally see what the games all about. I was getting it anyway as I love Killzone and I've played this games online already.

I think it's already passed 250K+ so I think they've done OK. Just need the mutliplayer to slowly chug away to get people into buying it.

I'm already hoping they do a later gen Killzone. Definitely an underated series and I think with this new direction they're taking it will hopefully make it shine a tiny bit more.

Thats what GTA or COD usually do..
show almost nothing and last weeks show a lot!!

it has work for them.. We will see how well it does for KZSF.. so fr the preorders are good and after this info and new gameplays videos I bet many more want it now.
