Collector's Corner: BioShock 2 Rapture Edition

VGS: 'BioShock 2 was released in 2009 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Aside from the regular version there were two collector’s editions: the Rapture Edition and the Special Edition. The Special Edition is probably the more famous one. It came in a big case and included a real vinyl with the soundtrack of the game on it, among other extras. The one shown below, which is the Rapture Edition, was a lot simpler, and also a lot cheaper.'

I got the special edition of the game with the LP soundtrack.

It was certainly different. I have the posters up i my room as well.

Not really a Collectors item though is it...the B2 collectors edition with the vinyl was though

Yes, that one is better. But this is still more than the regular release.

Except in the US, it was clearanced out at $40-60 a 6 months after release.

Supply exceeded demand by quite a bit of margin.
