Professional League of Legends (LoL) player, Carlos “Ocelote” Rodriguez has revealed that he earns nearly $1 000 000 (one million) per a year playing the game he loves the most.
Nice numbers. How many make a million a year though?
Google doesn't no the answer so that means none ;) At the same time, it's not too shabby for a captain of a team that didn't do very well at the LCS this year.
Koreans make a ridiculous amount, nearing 2-4 mill. They're the superstars of their country.
This also given the amount the game makes. He is getting less then 1% of the total game revenue. But still, good for him!
Make a career of gaming, become a millionaire at 23, gg u win for life
That is really amazing! I am pretty sure he puts lots of effort in and has earned it in a very competitive gaming environment. When you look at how many people play LOL, you REALLY have to be good to rise to the top!
This goes to show that that gaming fraternity as well as the overall sponsorships are improving gradually, which should in turn promote gaming (I hope). Who can now say that gaming cannot be claimed as a valid eSport? Perhaps this will drive other gamers to excel as well.
Nice scarf - seems a great accessory when earning that kind of tom :)
I wonder how much Dendi makes in Dota 2 :) Nice article btw!
Good for him. Wish competitive e-Sports had been a valid career option when I was a kid! :)
