This is Your Life: Nintendo Wii Ends Production in Japan

Mark from Pixels for Breakfast reflects on his memories of the Nintendo Wii, from the moment he lined up on launch day, some of the games along the way and its impact on the way we play, as news breaks of the console's official cease of development in Japan. (Nintendo, Wii)

I wonder if Nintendo will ever have as much success for a console as they did with Wii...

Possibly the 3DS???
Maybe.

I doubt its going to be the WII U unless they begin to churn out games and reduce the price just slightly to try and hit the jackpot range. Also they should make the hardrive atleast 250GB if they introduce a new model thinking WII U slim or something like that.

I think they will do it again one day with a home console. Home console tends to go round in cycles where one will be top then another will be top and so on ect.

I think this new gen will be closer than people on here are saying its going to be and I see all 3 hitting 70 to 80 million in total sales and only 10 million between best and worst selling console.

I was not a big fan of the Wii. It has some amazing games but the 360 was my main console of last gen. But that said I am loving the WiiU at the moment and the games it has had out for it over the past few months is making me a Nintendo gamer again and reminds me of the days of the N64 where Nintendo made quality game after quality game.
