GAME Giving Just £3 for Kinect

Fancy trading in your dust-covered Kinect next time you visit a GAME store? It's probably best you keep a hold of it - the biggest gaming retailer in the UK are giving just £3 credit for Microsoft's motion sensor, or £2.30 cash. That's less than $4. (Kinect, Xbox 360)

LOL I bought one at a yard sale for $8 and thought it was a waste of money. I haven't used it.

I've seen reviews for the games and it just doesn't work well with anything in fact in some games it doesn't work at all. Its a disgrace that anything can be released that broken.
Activemessiah  +   622d ago
so £5 for the new Kinect then.
ABeastNamedTariq  +   622d ago
That's pitiful. I actually cringed.

Game's trade in prices are just awful, They offered me £2.80 for RDR GOTY...i went to Gamestop then and got £9.
djplonker  +   622d ago
ouch that is harsh!

I am not going to bother trading my one in I dont want people to think I was dumb enough to buy one -.-

I got it from a friend for £50 just after it came out cause his room was too small as was mine it has been in the spare room in its box since!

I might connect it up and make it watch me smash my 360 to bits the day I get my ps4

also cex is the best for trade ins kinect will get you £ 11 cash there and I sold my gtav there last week and got £35 it only cost me £38 new!

There will be a superior version available very soon that is bundled with every Xbox One sold... Of course prices of the inferior standalone version decreases
wynams  +   622d ago
And it will be loathed just as much. MS really messed up forcing kinect 2.0 on people. Fragmentation or nay, gamers just don't gaf about voice or motion control.

Prove it!

Family's and kids love it, it's great fun at party's aswell!

Lucky gamers comes under all loads of different types!

Oh no, you just think you are a gamer I see, tut tut when you grow up and have family you will understand seeing and playing games with your kids is fun, kinect is amazing!

close to 30 million kinect sensors are sold. So almost 40% of the total install base of the Xbox 360 spent money on Kinect.

How is this bad?
djplonker  +   622d ago
@thrust that is what nintendo games are for playing with your kids ;)

m$ wants some of that wii casual cash

Won mine from work that was bundled with the slim, been meaning to try and trade it in somewhere since I have no use for it. Now that I see what it's going for, seems like it may be a waste to try and sell it lol.

@thrust

Why would microsoft make something that doesn't work, unless you have ideal conditions. No Dorm rooms, Bed rooms, NY city apartment's .- I mean c'mon.. that's on M$ for rushing it out.

I was talking about other people, that live in the conditions I mentioned.
blackberty  +   622d ago
Considering they sell them for £10 with a kinect game, this isn't very surprising.
Koyes  +   622d ago
£2.99 too much
vividi  +   622d ago
Way to much
Mogwai  +   621d ago
Its atrocious the amount they expect us to pay for the game initially and what you get in return when trading in, bloody crap!
