TBH im getting this game for single player just wish they would show more singleplayer gameplay

still so beautiful. Hopefully they got gameplay down by release

What a Ryse multiplayer tournament? Narrator was dry but he was trying hard to be funny. pffft I love the game, Crytek is doing a phenomenal job but I'm greedy so I sure would like some more direct-feed instead of this off screen stuff but at least the combat gameplay looks good here, maybe its me but its slightly faster than before. This is the first time I've seen that rolling maneuver, looks like the big guy at the end was alot tougher, until he used his god power with a sweet finishing move. I did notice missing blood in the the early part but overall looks solid for a action hack n slash multiplayer. I think I just might play this until I unlock everything.

Enemies just stand still staring most of the time, when one of them finally moves he is trying to combo thin air, this supposed to be fun?

yeah this game is all about the sp, mp is just extra for any hack n slash. I think Crytek are doing a good job trying to make this kind of add on mode for this type of game interesting. It has Co-op, diverse arena settings, variety of arena weapons, environmental/stage kills, godpowers, unlocking items and of course the game looks amazing. Combat looks good, they are gladiators with heavy armor not ninjas. Singeplayer alone is definitely what Im buying Ryse for but credit to Crytek for trying to extend the game with what looks like a multiplayer I can enjoy for a few hours.

Looks great I can't wait to get my hands on this game. I think I might lose sleep.

As for the usual troll replies.., yawn

Not again,, really.

It's like they have invested in Ryse big time.

nah mulyiplayer also looks good now i was kinda disspointed when i got the first look at the agme play but now finaly it looks good ,its not very new but presentation good and amzing cutsenes, graphics executions makes it engaging combat also looks quite good now ,it looks like good but if some one says me your standard is low in gaming ,then i must admit that i have no big expectations from this game to me it only looks fun to play with mindblowing graphics. i'm not expecting any great story .it is good piece of work that at what rate graphics can looks llike in recent future.

I'm with Rad I hope Crytek supports the Single player more than MP (DLC/ extensions).

Seems like MP is tacked on.

B-radical1759d ago

Would be cool if they added expansion pack episodes for after you finish the game.

AngelicIceDiamond1759d ago

@Rad Different characters, scenarios/cities, possibly even Co-Op.

Episodic similar to the Walking dead or Breaking bad series.

MS has the resources to make it happen.

I would love that @RAD good idea bro.

Tbh I thought the multiplayer would be terrible with single player being the redeeming feature but the more I see of this the more I am keen to give it a go.

gusgusjr1759d ago

Definitely going to try out multiplayer but not expecting much. Single player is where it seems to be at.

M-M1759d ago

I still think they should work on the gameplay more, it looks clunky to me. Game looks great though.

Brazz1759d ago (Edited 1759d ago )

i agree. The sigle player looked good, and hey, whit some good story things can work very well, but... Multiplayer... i don't like what i see, looks strange and broken.

edit: the graphic are looking very good, truly beautiful game.

JackISbacK1759d ago

atleast mp is looking better than deep down but stiil not very new ,but looks is looking like a good hack and slash game.

iistuii1759d ago

I'm replaying Batman AC at the moment & from what I can see from this gameplay the fighting seems the same as they did with Batman Y to counter etc. it looks fine to me. It's going to be slower, he's holding a sword & shield. Looks fine to me.

Brazz1759d ago

Whit all respect, but... this is nowere at the level of batman! it does not compare with Batman! Batman is much more fluid and natural, the effects of slow / acceleration of the Batman games are more natural and balanced, the thing is not so dependent on QTE's and the variety of moves that Batman has is far greater. The gameplay of Batman is one of the best already made, Ryse does not compare. (to be fair, comparing "almost anything" with Batman is an injustice, the game simply excels in this area)

In terms graphic, however, Ryse wins, the game really is very beautiful.

Bigpappy1759d ago (Edited 1759d ago )

clunky right. That's not what I am seen. The guy is doing a great job of moving from one combatant to the next, and protecting his blind side. But that might just be me. I see a fun, co-op multi-player, that is like hordes mode in gears. I see myself playing this a lot actually. I will be working to unlock all the armor sets and finishing moves. Having this mode this well refined means this is like having 2 games in one. Loving this game. May me even more so because I am not using a gun.
