I played Thief 1 and Thief 2. I can tell you right now it was some of the best stealth gaming ever. Thief was far superior to Tenchu and Hitman even though both of those game were amazing stealth games as well. If you are craving a stealth assassin game Thief isn't for you. If you are craving a level of depth that is so immersive that you fear being caught. Then this game is for you. You will be tasked to get an objective that you will be paid for but, there is a lot more loot that can be all yours if you have the patience and tactical ability. Completing Thief 1 and Theif 2 on PC was an accomplishment and I see this one being made on those same lines. This game will test you

Thief has a wonderful sick sense of humor as well.

I cant wait its a buy for me.

I was crazy hooked to the first 2. They were really refreshing back in the day, I hope this one sticks to the same formula and become all stabby stabby like I have a feeling it will.

I won't accept it as being as stealthy as Hitman until I have played it.

And the cries for a new Tenchu, continue unabated.
Snookies12  +   364d ago
Well, Tenchu left a hole that hasn't been filled. Where are the serious stealth ninja games lately? There's Ninja Gaiden, but that's way over the top.
Bathyj  +   364d ago
Ninja Gaiden isnt a Ninja game. Hes just an action hero with a sword.

Calling it a Ninja game is like calling Call of Duty a strategic tactical shooter.

@Bathyj - Yeah, but that's my whole point. There is nothing like Tenchu anymore. That's about as close as we get these days. I wish the old team would get back together and make a new one. :\

To me the godfather of stealth will always be metal gear. also at the above guys.. yes tenchu was so awesome.
Snookies12  +   364d ago
That's what I'd consider the Godfather of stealth too. Metal Gear was the first to do it. They still remain the best most likely.
