Mad Max Preview: Start Your Engines

Since it was revealed that the titular character in Mad Max would have an American accent the game came under quite a lot of scrutiny.

It took a petition from an Australian website Ausgamers to sway the developers, Avalanche Studios, to change voice actors really late in the game to keep the game close to its original roots.

Whilst it doesn’t continue on or have anything to do with the original movies or the new reboot, the game is still set in a post apocalyptic world.

The story is too old to be commented.

I'd rather hope for more variety and detail put into a little bit smaller world, or at least make it feel truly deserted and fun to travel in.

I did appreciate the Just Cause 2 map size, it felt very epic to be in such and large world at first, but it lacked the detail to make the world give you various different experiences, it was rather just plain size matter, same looking things scattered all over a big territory.

Don't get me wrong, there was quite a lot of variety, but I just couldn't find myself enjoying the huge size of the world as much as I would like to.

And @Mohlest - yes multiplayer mode would be awesome.

I really want see some gameplay.

Why it is so hard for them to show us the game?

Why does it take petitions these days to set things straight, did you think Aussies would be happy to hear that an american would be doing the voice work.
Madmax is an all time Aussie classic. Glad they changed there minds but they did it for the wrong reasons.
