More than 6.6 million units have been sold for the Assassin's Creed Franchise in the UK.
Thats not Bad number for us Brits being small country yet a Big part of the Gaming Industry
yea definately, and I bet where you live, you are going to start to see a lot of black flag advertisement soon
Yeh you get tv adverts of course game gamestation shops advertiseing latest top games.
Especially since many of the main character r Brits. Historians reckons about 60% of pirates were Brits, mixed with French Spanish and escaped slaves. One good thing about pirates, they were one of the few group of people who hated slavery at the time
Just Finished AC 1 and 2, can wait for 4th.
Where is the Old English Assassins Creed set in England? Don't care what period/era, England / that region has so much history.
Didn't know UK had that many people. j/k
65 million dude, keep up
The weather sucks over here so we all just sit at home drinking tea and playing Assassins Creed all day long (and a few other games too).
Do you guys watch Top Gear as much as we Americans? The country is slowly getting addicted to BBC America. Broadchurch is really growing a following over here. (Obviously, Dr. Who is big here, too.)
Top Gear is huge here in the UK. It's not as popular as it once was but thanks to it's humour, it has a loyal following. Doctor Who gets more and more popular by the day... Everyone seems to agree that they're catering more to the US audience, but it's probably our biggest show. Torchwood was hugely popular too, but from season three onwards people hated it. (I still love it!)
Sweet. Yeah, I can see why you would all think that about Doctor Who. I just wish I could enjoy the show as much as my friends. They're obsessed.
I don't watch Top Gear nearly as much as i used to, its become too rehearsed and dare i say "fake".
Dave ruined Top Gear. Doctor Who I pretty much stopped watching when Matt Smith came in. Do Americans watch Eastenders?
That's no problem, just south of you guys are Spain and Portugal. Hop on over there for some sun.
That's a great news for me, as a AC fan.
It's great having another large english-speaking(!) market outside of the US. Back in the day it was basically US and a large Japanese market.
Video games have always been huge in the UK... Just look at how many developers we have! http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
Not large enough to be often mentioned in video game mags. It was mostly US and Japan, US and Japan, etc. If you were that large you wouldn't have received crappy PAL 50 versions of great games like Terranigma. Now, it's a whole different ballgame "UK console videogame software units are more than double what was achieved in 2003, which just shows how fast the UK market has been growing," said Dorian Bloch

Ive played many great games on consoles PC were rolling credits inc UK developer studios 2 big names off top my head GTA , GOD OF WAR 3. Get mentioned because there help. Pal 50 was native yes as many tv in EU were not NTSC 60Hz now thats thing of the past.
We have came up with the ideas for some of the biggest franchises in gaming. Grand Theft Auto, Tomb Raider to name some. Many studios abroad are often made up of many different people, some British. I agree we arent as relaxed about games as the US. Its still considered nerdy to like video games outside of COD and Fifa
AC4 BF is coming soon folks! :)
