"Armed Seven is a sidescrolling mecha shooter game from developer Astro Port and publisher Nyu Media. Astro Port are the developers behind Gigantic Army and have come out with this particular title. The game sees players taking on the role of a mech in the year 1989 against an invading force of aliens known as the Gogoh Army. The game itself is a level based side-scrolling shooter, much like any arcade game involving the game panning from right to left with the player being railroaded through it." - Attack On Gaming

Whatever happened to just shooting a bunch of helicopters and flying robots? Times have moved on from arcade style shoot-em-ups, onto complex game mechanics and deep storylines. But Armed Seven is saying no to all that, and is looking to recapture some of that old style of game. You control a futuristic mech, and you use it to fly around and shoot other mechs and other machinery. Back to basics.
