Keiji would be happy to make a spiritual successor to Mega Man Legends

In a video interview, Keiji has said that he would be happy to make a spiritual successor to Mega Man Legends via Kickstarter. (3DS, Kickstarter, Mega Man Legends 3)

Mega Man Legends was really a great series. It's a shame CapCom owns the trademark/rights for it.

With the recent success of Mighty No.9's kickstarter, it would be no doubt that if Keiji thinks of starting a spiritual successor series to Mega Man Legends, it will end up successful as well on Kickstarter.

That is cool news to hear. But I would prefer to hear Keiji wants to make a spiritual sequel to Mega Man Battle Network more. I think Mighty No.9 Battle Network would be pretty cool. So I hope a game like that happens some day.

Just sell Mega Man to Nintendo, Capcom isn't doing anything with him except giving him a bad rep.

no Nintendo has to BUY it from Capcom, Capcom isn't gonna sell there franchises until its desperate to get back up financially or goes bankrupt like THQ and sell there IP's away.

I second that. Don't know what makes Capcom wait so long to put Legends 1-2 and Tron Bonne on PSN. Lots of fans wants to play it again after they canceled Legends 3.

mega man legends is the only series that actually changed the way i look at mega man. If they could improve upon a game that was kind of ahead of its time, it will be great.

Waiting for Capcom to put Legend 1, 2, and Tron Bonne on PSN. Or...an HD remake for all of them...hopefully...
