The differences between the next-gen versions(PS4/PC) and current gen(PS3/XB360) are staggering. This is what the PC guys meant when they said "current gen is holding us back".

Don't Listen to the PC elitist. Console don't hold back PCs. PCs hold themselves back. PC elitist only think of themselves. They expect developer to make the to cater to their PC spec and ignore the people you don't have a $700 gpu in their systems. The truth is developers design the game to run on a broad range of PCs.

PC guys were right, just like how they were right about the future going digital. They were saying this over 6 years ago, and look at what's starting to happen now.

The PC guys weren't right. PC elitists aren't happy with anything and will b*tch about everything. Even if there were no current gen version of AC4, they'd say the PS4/Xbox One version of the game is holding PC back.

PC holds PC back. That's the downfall of a market with limitless configurations. There will never be a completely optimized game on PCs, not unless someone takes it into their own hands to do so.

PC elitists can blame consoles for holding back the PC versions because of some idea that the devs develop for the lowest common denominator, but even if there were no consoles it still wouldn't matter because there will always be someone out there with a never maxed $1000 gpu thinking that the person with a $150 gpu is holding his version back.

Where did this PC elitist whine came from? Right now the only thing holding everyone back are the crap boxes of the PS3 and Xbox 360. These systems are horribly obsolete and every game released on these silicon door stop is a missed opportunity.

With only 1 month away from the PS4 and Xbox One street date I want everything to be designed for the nextgen only. Just imagine how good AC 4 would be if it was designed to run on a console with 8 gigs RAM instead of a console with 512 MB. With such a massive performance gap between consoles vs consoles alone, the PC vs console debate becomes totally irrelevant.

@Dante I don't know if your being sarcastic or not.....

If you are making a broad prediction like that ...of course your going to be right...that's like me saying its going to rain....I don't have to give a date but sure enough when it does rain I am right..or me saying we are going to run out of natural gas or replace gasoline as a fuel....it might not happen now...but in thirty years you'll be posting that Im right....because its just natural progression of things not a prediction

I expect AC 4 to be announced soon. BF is probably a cash grab and releasing on both consoles to maximize profits. I'm sure the ps4 version looks good but the game is not made specifically for the new hardware. AC 4 should be though.
