Nintendo makes it tough to be a fan of theirs. So many flashes of brilliance but too many over bearings of sadness.

Kos-Mos1013d ago

You make it tough to be taken seriously. Don`t be sad.

maniacmayhem1013d ago

I'm tough because I take it serious. Now how's that?

2014:

3DS continues to get great games

Vita - Will start having even more good games become available for the system.

Wii U - Starting to pick up now, will continue and have good success in 2014.

XB1 - ?...not sure. Forza & Titanfall look solid though.

PS4 - I think will do very well but both XB1 & PS4 won't be anywhere near good until sometime in 2014 in terms of games available.

WiiU sadness

Wii and 3DS happiness

Phil321013d ago

To be honest, I'm starting to get really happy with the Wii U. Sales are sadness, though, definitely. :/

This year sucked for me, can' t wait til the games I want come out next year

WiiU idk, there's nothing I have to play yet. Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 are good but not must haves.

On the 3ds though it had the best library of any system this year and still has some of its biggest games next month. Its a rpg fans heaven and really every gamers heaven with two Etrian Odysseys, Fire Emblem, Rune Factory, Project X Zone, SMT4, Pokemon, Zelda, Bravely Default, Animal Crossing, Luigis Mansion, Mario and Luigi, Soul Hackers, Monster Hunter Tri G, Castlevania, Donkey Kong Country, Pheonix Wright, and many many others. That is a must have system IMO.

If Nin can turn the WiiU around like they did with the 3ds it will be one for the history books. To do that they need third parties, not big multiplats but third party games like Tales, Square games, Atlus games, and these amazing classic ip's and Japan centric titles the 3ds gets. BF4 and Mass Effect 4 won't help but SMT5, Persona 5, Kingdom Hearts, and maybe Dark Souls 2 would be amazing. Nintendo fans buy Nintendo but most love classic ip's like Megaman, retro games like Shovel Knight, and RPGs galore. Publishers mistakenly thing we want the newest shooter or mass market trash the ps and ms fans gobble up and then wonder why sales suck.
