New Mirror's Edge and Star Wars Battlefront games could take on a different "format", DICE has suggested.
Speaking before a BAFTA Showcase for Battlefield 4, executive producer Patrick Bach said the company was "absolutely" interested in new experiences.
"We are now, as we announced at E3, also building a Star Wars Battlefront game, as well as going back to the Mirror's Edge franchise," he told Digital Spy.
"To me, that's an opportunity for us to try new grounds."
When asked whether the titles are arguably established, well known franchises, Bach responded: "Well, you could claim that people know what it is.
"Just because the IP is known, doesn't mean that the format will be the same. So, you never know."
Aspyr Media Inc allegedly used a fan-made PC mod to add previously Xbox exclusive content to Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection.
Aspyr if we sell hotcakes get that code from radical or something and create battlefield 3 please
I thought that was kind of obvious they were incorporating mods to piece this game together. Maybe not, but that's made me worried about one thing:
They also planned on adding the modded ending to KOTOR 2 but were legally blocked from doing so, even after they advertised that to help sell preorders for the game on Switch. Could the same happen with this? Any opponents have 3 weeks to bring down the hammer.

Had a blast playing Kotor when it first released can't wait for the remake to drop.
I've been waiting 5 years for a new Mirror's Edge, and it'll probably be 6-7 years by the time it comes out. I hope they don't f**k it up.
