Top 5 Console/Handheld Redesigns

MasonicGamer: Nobody’s perfect and you need not look any further than redesigns in the world of technology to see that. Sometimes the vision outpaces the hardware available at the time and other times it’s just an excuse to build a newer model using cheaper components. Whatever the case may be, there’s no denying that a redesign is an opportunity to give consumers something better than what came before it. (Nintendo DS, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360)

Didnt the ps2 slim give sony a mega boost in sales back in the day? It was genious lol. And the ps3 slim gave them a much needed boost too. I actually thought the 3ds xl was gonna be up there but maybe its too recent? I thought it was a good redesign because of the bigger screen and i believe nintendo made the battery life longer too. Could be wrong about the battery life tho im not sure

The genesis redesign took away the 3.5 stereo jack.
The SNES intergrated the spc chip.

If I had to recommend a PS3 model it would be the 160gb slim & a Nyko media hub slim. If you don't care about BC then that is the best model to get.
