Dead Rising 3 combo creations: the wackiest weapons on Xbox One

When the zombie apocalypse finally comes, the team here at OXM are in trouble. Not me, though - I've watched every episode of Buffy at least five times, which practically makes me a fully qualified Slayer. The other guys, however, are royally screwed. Our profession doesn't exactly provide us with the skills necessary for surviving an undead onslaught, see. I mean, what are they going to do, type the zombies to death? (Dead Rising 3, Xbox One)

The grenade hammer will do nicely.

Lol that thing looks freaking awesome, I wonder if the grenades are used with every explosion, or if they can magically explode multiple times.

As much as I like the DR series (Own 1&2) I'm just not feeling this game at all. Now I can't wait to get my hands on KI, starting to dig Ryse a bit more every time I see it.

Don't bash my head in here. I'm not trolling or anything like that. I've tried my hardest to like this series. I don't know what it is that just doesn't appeal to me. Maybe it's the zombies, the horrendous controls, or just the over-repetitive hack-n-slash. I don't know. I'd love to like it but this is just my opinion of course. Does anyone else feel the same way?

I hated the first 2 games, a bit like what your saying. The loading pissed me off. I actually stopped playing them. But because this is a straight through play, no loading just non stop go where you want action, & coop i think, I'm more up for it.

The controls are a big turn off for many. As well as the time limit.

See that is why I'm so excited for DR3. No time limits =D

But yeah I can see why it wouldn't appeal to you. It's not a game for everyone. Coming from some one who loves them, The first game is very Dawn of the Dead. being that it is a movie I love it felt like I could play my own version of that. Where as DR2 made me feel like my experience from the first would be changed into a bigger crazier experience.

I guess it's just the freedom to do what you want. Who knows, DR3 might change your mind when it comes out. Maybe not. I guess we'll see!
