There are quite a few gems from generations past that deserve the chance to wow gamers on a shiny new console.
These should all stay dead
Perfect list but I wish they would bring .hack series to ps4. Been ages since the ps2 and they stopped making em. WELCOME TO THE WORLD!!!!!
It'd be pretty great to see another entry like Shadow of the Colossus make waves on a new console. Think of the potential there.
Well Persona 5 will certainly happen, no doubt about that. I just wish they'd make a bit more of an effort to connect the universe of the Persona games. Obviously they did this for 3 and 4, but the original games were reduced to mere throwaway cameos on the text that came from the TV in the dorm. They should re-introduce some of the old characters. I'd love to see a PROPER Silent Hill game, while Skate and Harvest Moon I don't really care about. Did they ever get rid of that dreadful camera angle in the Skate series?
Skate's camera was improved upon in later releases. I was a fan of the original's however, it did a pretty good job of emulating a traditional fish-eye style filming skate flicks have.
I suppose if you're really into skating you'd like that. But for those who were more into Tony Hawk's Pro Skater and not ACTUAL skating it seems to make sense to include a camera angle more like in THPS.
Harvest Moon will probably go to the Wii U, since it seems like the newer titles were exclusively on the Wii. There was the remake of Save the Homeland on the PSP, which really improved upon the original title, but other than that it was a Nintendo exclusive. Persona 5 will likely come out on the PS3/360 in a similar way that P3 and P4 came out on the PS2 after the PS3 was already released. I actually hope that this is how it happens, as I don't plan to buy a new console at launch, but if they decide to go next gen I guess I'll pony up the cash. Never played Skate, but if they make it fun then I might check it out. Silent Hill should go back to its roots, and if a great Silent Hill game comes out on the next gen systems it could potentially be the final blow to the already faltering Resident Evil series. Although, we'll definitely see what Shinji Mikami has to offer with The Evil Within well before a new Silent Hill comes out.
Decent list of games that many gamers may not eve know about.
