Following the latest gameplay reveal of Kingdom Hearts 3 at D23 earlier today, Sam Hewitt of Level Complete wants to share his opinion on the footage.
I can't wait for the game and am a big fan, but the gameplay footage was meh.
I thought the last two sections of the footage was meh, but the first thirty seconds or so did show us what it has to offer. What was it about the trailer that you didn't really like?
I didn't like the Attraction roller coaster thing. The other section looked... Like KH, so I am fine with it, Hope the Final Form and such return.
The gameplay maybe didn't look like all that, but the graphics: :O :O :O :O :O :O :O And I'm sure the gameplay won't be any worse than usual.
I enjoyed it, and I thought it was a great to show Kingdom Hearts fans their next game. Overall, the graphics look amazing, and the lighting and particle effects with the magic really livens up the gameplay. In the first clip, I noticed that the end of combos just seemed to end. For example, after the final attack of the combo, Sora wouldn't just stand there all of the sudden, would finish his full swing with the Keyblade and it would gradually flow into the next attack. The Rock Titan looked amazing as well, I'm pretty sure the train was the first few moments before you actually had to fight him on foot since Sora flung the train at him lol.
The game is still in development and probably wont be out for a while (heck we don't even know when FFXV is coming out) but I'm trying to scale down my hype for this game (kinda failing at that) as I don't want to expect to much from it and get disappointed.
Looks and plays too much like Kingdom Hearts 2
and thats a bad thing?
