Is Assassin's Creed IV Viable? | Leet Gamers Asia

"Many people were disappointed by Assassin’s Creed III, citing it’s lack of true tactical freedom as a main factor, as well as unlikable characters and a bland plot. After how incredibly hyped up III was, it seemed impossible that it would ever live up to expectations. But boy, were we ever excited. About a year after Assassin’s Creed III shipped, IV is making its way to our current and next-gen consoles. If GTAIV was a huge bomb that is was. Then we see what Rockstar did with GTAV. The same is being done with AC4 from what ACIII was. A total make over with SO many game play changes.

But GTA IV wasn't a bomb; it was a masterpiece. I do agree that AC IV is going to more likely make up for III.

Well, I more then aware of what the general opinion of what GTAIV is, lol. Not good at all. But yeah... :)

ZBlacktt, i think this is one of the rare times where i actually wholeheartedly agree with you. I see the transition from AC3 to AC4 similar as the transition from GTA4 to GTA5.

It's a good game brah. I was not a fan of AC3 myself.... just the naval stuff.

Only difference being of course that GTA4 has been pretty much the only dip in quality R* have had whereas AC hasn't quite been the same since AC2, up until now it seems anyway.

When things become popular, people like to rip on it. GTA IV doesn't have a 98 on Metacritic for nothing. ;)
