Dragon Age Inquisition will continue Bioware's tradition of romance and sex scenes with companions; learn how.
the characters need to be attractive, fix the awful faces of the characters first
Are you one of those people that creates a cartoonishly hot female character in RPGs so you've got something nice to stare at for the 40+ hours you need to beat the game?
its not the game his beating :-//
What's wrong with creating beautiful female characters to play as? It gets boring creating a caricature of yourself in every damn game that supports custom characters.
What's wrong with looking at nice things?
Whats wrong with that ? Im a 40 yr old family man and i always opt for female when given the option in all games but does that make me abnormal ? If they are going the sex scenes route then i agree that it should be pleasing to the eye. If im going to spend hrs playing a game spec 3rd person where your looking at the back of the toon then ied rather its a females arse im looking at rather than a males.
The Witcher 2 had the most mature and tasteful sex scenes in my opinion, I hope Bioware takes a page from their book for this.
I agree, CD Projekt RED nailed it.
I doubt they would learn from what CDPR did, and instead we'll get the usual scenes from them. Possibly just to bring the age rating down on the game. If you're looking for a better tasteful sex experience, then The Witcher 3 releases next year.
From BioWare? Yeah, right.
Whatever you say, Bio-EA
What is the point of sex scenes in a video game anyway?
What is the point of sex scenes in anything?
None except for in certain films. They're never beyond gratuity to me, unless it's a movie explicitly about sex like Shame, Secretary, or Crash.
Shame is f*cking awesome. Easily the best movie that year.
The same reason for them being in anything else (unless its porn), to show two peoples affection for one another. What's so hard to understand? Example: In an attempt to make the player more emotionally connected the character in the game, the dev might include a passionate sex scene to show you who the person you play as loves and that he can feel love. That makes him more "human" and easier to connect and "feel" for. Now, mindless sex scenes with little point are another matter.
Ridley Scott was once asked why there are no sex scenes in his films. He responded with something like "because they're boring and pointless." The creator of the work has a million other ways to show that two people care about each other that are more meaningful than the act of sex. A simple glance between two people can tell you worlds about their relationship. The only time sex scenes are worth including is if they're integral to the plot, in the same way that showing violence should be used.
yeah but ifrit many people are too basic to understand such innuendos. They only understand physical attraction, or hold it as the highest form of attraction. Thus, Sechs Scenes.
I have to agree with you man. I don't see the need for BioWare to feed perverted gamers a bunch of 3D characters having sex. Watching porn or a romance movie seems like a better option to see real people going at it rather than plastic 3D models.
Mature? Tasteful? But i thought videogames were immature and tasteless and only for kids who live in their parents basement? They couldn't possibly ever be considered a mature medium. /S
I know and understand what you mean but there are mature people, including ones that I know, don't like seeing sex and kisses in games and movies.
I know, i was just referring to those 2 words and how its rare for people to take those words seriously when it comes to videogames these days.
Well it's not like sex will make its way into everything. Your friends are safe IMO.
Please make it so its not just plastic robot faces, hell a freelance guy made more impressive nsfw elizabeth pr0n than anything ive seen in a legit game, and hes done like 50.
Mature and Tasteful eh.. Gilf's and oral sex confirmed!
"My fruit?". Yes Leliana, I want to see your fruit.
