Kingdom Hearts is a joint effort of both Square Enix and Disney. At D23 Expo in Japan, it was announced that the Kingdom Hearts series has shipped 20 million copies worldwide.
Back in the day the idea of Squarenix & Disney collaborating on a game was a risky proposal. Glad to see that their gamble payed off & that the series is as successful as it is. Looking forward to KH 2.5 & KH3 to add to that sales number.
o god, Kingdom Hearts 3 We won't see that game for another 10 years will we? On the 20th anniversary of kingdom hearts then again, I will have Kingdom Hearts 2 final mix to hold me over. I juts hope no more handheld games, no more extra stalling to make Kingdom Hearts 3 Also happy that the series is doing fine, financially I remember playing The world ends with you In the year it came out, square enix didnt make alot of money and then said they arent going to use any of the ideas in that year --> The World Ends With You wont get a sequel :'(
why wouldnt we be getting kh3 anytime soon? are you one of those ppl that judge sqaure on 13 versus? or you think they'll make more side games? well thats not the case for this game they're done with side games for now and ff 15 taking so long was probly a special case which im actually glad it took so long to make cuz i doubt it would look as good as it does no back then.but the latest we'll get kh3 would be 2016
Nomura said he want to get kh3 as soon as possible so no
KH3 and KH 2.5, hell yeah.
And most of those sales were on PS consoles. Its gonna be interesting to see how it does now thats its next sequel is multiplatform.
