PSA: Nintendo 2DS now available to budget-minded gamers

Many gamers are focused on the PS4 and Xbox One launches, but we'd be remiss if we didn't mention a third that just took place: the Nintendo 2DS is now available in Australia, Europe and North America. US-based shoppers can buy black/blue and white/red models for $129.

The 3DS XL is superior in every way to the 2DS and regular 3DS.

And also more expensive. It's like saying "the GTX 780 is better than the GTX 770 and the GTX 760!". Well, some people don't want to spend that much money on the high-end version.

So true!

It's practically the size of a Minipad.
The folding screens are what made the DS series compact. Compared to previous versions the 2DS is a unforgiving slab that's breeches pockets everywhere.

Im so buying this thing as soon as i get some spare cash. I dont want 3d and i wanna save some money and i know it sounds crazy to some but i like the design. Also, i never had a ds so.... HUGE BACKLOG! Sweet :)
