Keiji Inafune Might Join with Capcom on Mighty No. 9? I’m Not Concerned

J. Hugo of Kaboomshark writes "Very recently, praise and applause was to be held for Keiji Inafune and his new special project, Mighty No. 9, which recently closed its Kickstarter. Now, the internet is full of despair and, possibly, anger over a recent comment Inafune made where he stated that he would be open if Capcom published his game. Keiji talks smack about Capcom and the Japanese gaming industry for YEARS and is now considering having Capcom publish his game???!!!

Say it ain't so, Keiji!

I dislike the guy. He often talks about how the Japanese industry needs diversity and originality yet he is making a successor to Mega Man. He needs to practice what he preaches.

Damn well better not let Capcom publish Mighty No.9! I didn't back the game to have it spoon fed to me in piece meals through DLC.

A lot of people funded it to stick it to Capcom including me, then going to Capcom to publish his game is spitting in the face of those people.
