Sony Online Entertainment has released a new video for PlanetSide 2. In this fourth episode of Operation: Make Faster game, the development team introduces us to Rob Elam and Julio Jerez, programmers for PlanetSide 2. Rob and Julio are charged with optimizing aka "wrangling" the system interactions with the game physics engine to make PlanetSide 2 run better.
Planetside 2’s future is uncertain as the IP was sold for a relatively low sum to a company with no history.

PlanetSide 2 is going to be getting its next major expansion this December. This new addition, titled “Expedition: Oshur” will be the first addition in almost seven years to bring an entirely new continent to the game.
If they can make our Vanu tanks float better and not get stopped by a random little step then I'm all for it.
