This week on Nintendo’s electronic shop, the latest entry to the Pokemon series releases in addition to classic NES sports titles.
Pokémon X/Y releases on th eShop at midnight, right? I might go to GameStop later and buy a $50 Eshop card if so
why only 50
Because I ain't rich. Besides, I've already pre-ordered Pokémon Y on GameStop last month. Pokémon X is gonna be my digital version, so it's on my (Ambassador) 3DS at all times, is gonna be my Japanese version just in case Japan gets another cool event (like the shiny Rayquaza), and so I can play it at midnight tonight, which would give me a few hours ahead of my friend.
The Wii U needs to get more games than this. The PS3 has a bunch of games, every week.
People only compare consoles with huge install bases to console which jsut got released not a year ago. People tend to act as if it is a surprise, that PS3 gets more games, but people are used to develop for it, or at least port a 360 game over easy. Wii U outsold PS3 and Xbox360 in its first 4 month, but people act like that doesnt count for anything. The first year of a console was never an easy one, neither for ps3 or xbox360. To say, that a well established console, which had time for the past 7 years to grow its installbase, gets more games then a new released one, I do not wonder, but it seems, like everyone is wondering. People hype up the PS4 so much, that the hype expectations can only fail, not because the console is bad, but because people expect a new world of entertainment of it and that is just impossible. Every console will have their first year, not being an easy one, PS4 easier then the rest, because of preorders, but that is pretty much it, from january till june, what is there so special, that new people will buy the console? PS3 struggled a lot during its launch year, but see, where it is now. PC gamers for sure know what to expect and know the difference. And people act like you need a $3000 gaming PC to see the difference, but I can pretty much tell, that a $700 gaming rig can outpower the PS4, since new APIs from Nvidia and AMD are coming, allowing console level optimization, pretty much says, all that made consoles special toward PCs, PCs can do it now, too. I do not expect many agrees on here, since this board is full of console fanatics, but it is what it is. Not to say, that games itself are way cheaper on a PC. That is why I love my setup with a very good gaming PC and my Wii U, because I can basically play everything that is important, maybe not God of War or Halo, but I get Command and Conquer Generals2, Dota2, Old Republic, Starcraft2, Diablo3 without bad endgame, hence duping of characters and items, Shooters in best qualit and gameplay the way it is meant to be, Zelda, Mario, Smash Bros, Metroid, DK, basically all third party titles and so much more, that I cannot even put it in a list.
Tennis... and Golf. The only big Playstation game Sony is still missing from its digital library is Suikoden II. The only big Nintendo game missing from Nintendo's is ALMOST EVERY NINTENDO GAME EVER. Please, God, let Final Fantasy VI come out on WiiU before Android.
If it is not under development, why should it? Important SNES games are there, important N64 games are there and will still come in and Gamecube is still under development as Virtual Console, since Wii was downwards compatible so didnt need it.
...Because it is under development. Android and iOS. And virtually none of the "important SNES games" are there, zero N64 games are there, and zero GBA games are there.
