Kaboomshark Review | Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness

Kaboomshark writer Ryan "Rdawg" T writes "Lately, I've been able to get hands on with quite a few of the latest JRPGs. Some would say I'm a little creepy for getting as into them as I do, but I don't think so. They're kind of like a guilty pleasure of mine. With as much JRPG experience as I have, it's hard to admit what I am about to tell you, so listen carefully. I have never played a single game in the Disgaea series. Yeah, that's right. I know what you're thinking. "How can this guy call himself a JRPG fan if he hasn't played one of the most basic series in the entire genre?" To you people, I apologize dearly. However, if anything, that gives me much fresher eyes when it comes to judging the latest entry in the series (which I have been able to play..thoroughly), Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness. Out of the recent JRPGs I've gotten my hands on, Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness is by far the best. Though it's no surprise. Let's take a closer look at what this whirling dirbish (of anything you could possibly imagine) has to offer." (Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness, PS3) 4/5
