ehh. I love Nintendo but these random little games here and there just don't cut it.

When I look at PSN on my PSP and see the list of RPG's and other games available...it's not even close.

Nintendo has amazing games and they are refusing to even try to attempt to release them.

How about releasing like 10-20 games at one time.

Benjaminkno3847d ago

Yeah, let's compare WiiU to a portable from a decade ago...

robparko3847d ago

I will agree that Nintendo shouldn't be drip feeding us games that we can already buy on the Wii's VC. They should have had all those games available on day 1. I don't see anything wrong with releasing "new" VC titles on a weekly basis, though.

Also, I've seen the PSN library and it isn't that amazing. I will agree that its current state is better than the Wii U.

Golf and tenis for the Wii U VC? You got to be kidding me Nintendo. Where are those N64 titles you promised? I'll gladly give you money but not with these titles I won't. Step it up a little. ;)

Neonridr3848d ago

I've been waiting for some N64 titles to release as well. Fortunately I have a few 64 games from my Wii, however it's a pain in the arse to have to switch to that archaic Wii mode in order to play them.

Still, I was expecting to see Gamecube titles being teased by now, not still waiting for titles to show up from the N64 titles

Would love to see a few GameCube titles, and there's a crap load of N64 titles that haven't even been on the Wii VC. It's time, Nintendo, it's time.

Wii U games that still haven't been ported to Switch

The Nintendo Switch is potentially nearing its lifespan, and several Wii U games haven't found their way over as ports yet.

I think it's better to leave games like AC: Amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash forgotten on the Wii U. Best case, they are mediocre games; worse case, they are very bad. It was a dark time for the Wii U, and the first only exists to sell Amiibo cards, whereas the second was put together in a couple of months with a shoestring budget, and it shows.

The rest of the list does have some really cool games, though. I would love to see a remake of Star Fox Zero with decent controls, and Xenoblade X doesn't require that much modification to work.

How would XCX work without dual screens functionality?

Cacabunga2d ago

Same as Paper Mario color splash. One of the best wiiu games and getting even better with dual screen. Same reason why i prefer Splatoon 1

This article leaves out Nintendo's most controversial game to date devils Third.
I personally found the cover system really fun in that one compared to at the time most fps games completely lacking one.

Stevonidas2d ago

Devil's Third is HIGHLY underrated.

They should remake Starfox to the switch 2. Very beautiful game during gamecube days.

Kirby is always ignored or forgotten by people, so good to see it mentioned here.
Play Kirby Canvas Curse on DS, and then play Rainbow Curse on Wii U, they're really fun and unique 'platformers' without any actual jumping.

How long until they get sued and it gets taken down? I say a month or 2

PRIMORDUS4d ago

Sued for what? It's just an emulator no ROMs are with it. ROMs are easy to get anyway, but with iPhone you can't just copy and paste like Android unless it's jail broken I think. Anyway Nintendo should be more concerned with their ROMs up to torrent for years for all of their concoles, but then again they can't do nothing about it, they never will and I love it. 🤣

NotoriousWhiz4d ago

As long as it isn't emulating the Switch, it'll be fine.

RonnySins4d ago

Naaah! Don't want to waste time emulating on iPhone.

Won't belong before Nintendo bangs on Apple's door to have the emu removed. Like I say you take down one six more take it's place. Problem is people are putting emu's on such stupid platforms. The good emus are the ones not on stupid platforms like a red target. The good emu's are word of mouth and keep a low profile.
