Top Ten Best iPhone & iPad Games - September, 2013

John Bedford (Modojo): Another month has passed in the world of mobile gaming, and it's a month that's seen some serious heavyweights go toe-to-toe with each other in the App Store charts. Who emerged victorious from the scrap? Could yet another Angry Birds stand up to yet another Infinity Blade? And can the masters of addiction, NimbleBit, find success again with the follow-up to Pocket Planes?

We've thought long and hard about our pick of the best new games to hit the App Store during September. Without further ado, here's our top ten from the last month in iOS gaming. (Angry Birds Star Wars 2, Call of Duty: Strike Team, Dead Effect, Deer Hunter 2014, FIFA 14, Heroes of Loot, Infinity Blade 3, iPad, iPhone, Pocket Trains, Shadowrun Returns)
