Ken Levine has "No Solid Idea" on Bioshock Future

Although Bioshock Infinite will be built upon with DLC, the longterm future of the franchise is a little less certain Ken Levine has revealed. While Infinite received incredibly positive reviews, it took a long time to make and cost an awful lot of money and it may not have been enough to definitely secure new games, and almost certainly not in the foreseeable future. (BioShock: Infinite, PC, PS3, Xbox 360)

Because most people on infinite left the project after it was done.

He better have an idea!

My Vita has been waiting forever even for a glimpse of the supposed Bioshock Vita =/

Aahhh, that's easy!

Just take it to the Moon Ken, from the bottom to the top!

No solid idea? So a liquid one then? Looks like we have confirmation that the next game will take place somewhere in water, a rebuilt Rapture perhaps? LOL in all seriousness I just want a vita Bioshock game. That would be awesome.

Not solid hmmmm, so it will not be set on the ground either because that`s solid. In that case I go with a Space station, that would bring the "Shock" series back to it`s roots as well.

I want the gameplay of the first bioshock with the story and ending of Infinite.
that there will be the greatest game ever

I don't get why people say Infinite's story is good. It has may plot holes and inconsistencies just search the video "BioShock Infinite Critique" a good video which points out a lot its flaws and plotholes
limewax  +   342d ago
No offence but I enjoyed the experience. Sure there's plot holes, some I noticed and some I missed, but since I enjoyed the story I don't really want to watch a video which has the intention to tear as many holes in it as possible.

Personally I don't see the aim in trying to crap all over an experience that I remember fondly, which is what watching such a video would feel like.

@lime wax

I just saying don't call the game of the best stories when its not

Unlike a lot of people I did like Bioshock's gameplay better than Infinites. I think it was mainly because of the hacking and plasmids. I loved Infinite - don't get me wrong - but it was missing something gameplay - wise that Bioshock had.
yellowgerbil  +   342d ago
the pacing was better scripted in the first game.
they used that to better set an atmosphere. I felt Infinite was too inconsistant and forgettable gameplay wise. But that ending made up for it.
@Another
Don't care that there were some plot holes. The journey is what matters (like with lost) And it was a great ride with one of the most amazing endings ever.
AnotherProGamer  +   342d ago
@yellow gerbil

But the ending didn't make any sense so first Elizab eth says Comstock lives in a INFINITE number of universes but she thinks killing Brooker/Comstock will someone stop all of them from existing just because Elizabeth killed him in one universes doesn't mean she did in all of them also the "grandfather" theory says you can't go back in time and kill your father because than you won't be born to kill him so how did she kill him?

B_Real  +   342d ago
It should play off the 1950's idea of a future space utopia on Mars that was supposed to occur by the 1990's.
ironfist92  +   342d ago
Bioshock in Space! No seriously, set in the future, with a Space Station as the city, a lighthouse in the sea which acts as a teleporter to the station, and maybe saving an alien girl while fighting off mechs and mutant human/alien hybrids (with alien chemicals acting as vigors/plasmids)
Wni0  +   342d ago
its called system shock
