Its a given that human combat leaves a lot to be desired in the AC series. I can forgive that provided the naval battles are epic and the land is rich for exploration and hunting. Next gen graphics, whales, lush jungle to explore is reason enough for me to purchase this game. If the hand to hand actually turns out good then that is just icing on the cake.

Once you realize that this is not an "assassin" game then you can appreciate it more. This is like a fallout with swords and smoke bombs mixed with Uncharted platforming.
