GameInformer- November Cover Revealed – The Order: 1886

GI:Gamers got their first glimpse of The Order: 1886 at E3 2013, when a brief and enigmatic trailer showed off a squad of soldiers in 19th century London fighting off an attacking pack of strange creatures. Ready At Dawn, best known for its PSP God of War and Daxter games, has remained silent about the new game in the months since. With our November issue, we blow out the full story on The Order, one of Sony’s big franchise premieres and exclusive PS4 titles for 2014.

I absolutely cant wait for this game. Hoping it will become one of Sony's signature titles. I have very high hopes for this game.

i may be the only one who found readyatdawn's work better than the console GOWs this gen.
so yeah , im hyped as hell for a new ip

@vishmarx No.

God of War III > GoS (flipping amazing game though, unbelievably good for a PSP game).

God of War: Ascension/III > CoO (really great for the first proper hack 'n slash on a portable device).

GoS > God of War: Ascension (not taking into account the MP the SP was not up to scratch and GoS was brilliant).

I can't wait for The Order 1866, it's going to be amazing!

That's pretty, http://media1.gameinformer....

From the short trailer to all the pictures so far this game has a great tone/ambiance. The setting, the dreary look of things, the fog, the rain, the darkness, even the characters facial expressions showing seriousness and concern. It already looks like a blockbuster movie, now if gameplay mechanics fall in line it'll be a serious new contender.

The video on the site shows a bit of the game in action, the 3rd person view, lighting, running animation.

if you see the anime Vampire Hunter D, the more recent version, not old school one, you get the exact same feel of this group of individuals with unique weapons going around slaying vampires in 1800s

cant wait to see more

Same here. It looks very promising for how little we've seen

I just want to know what the enemies will be, I'm kind of hoping it's a mix of supernatural enemies and "The Order" are like the defenders for Mankind.

Vampires, Warewolfs, Zombies, Witches, Ghosts....the enemies would stand out in this kind of setting

Lets not forget the characters have awesome moustaches...that's always a plus

FamilyGuy1867d ago

Yeah, seems like a Van Helsing type situation, only with a team of fighters rather than one main character. Can't wait to hear more.

Quadrostacker1867d ago

I'm on edge waiting for more info from this game. Can't wait!

If GI has got the world exclusive cover story for this game in their November issue then The world premiere gameplay trailer will debut at VGA this year! :) I can't wait! Picking up Beyond:Two Souls today after work as well. :)

Jack_Of_All_Blades1867d ago

I am definitely interested in seeing more about this game

I seriously am going to wait for the gameplay to see realtime visuals before I get hyped up. I'm really expecting another killzone 2 trailer fiasco. Remember that they said that THIS was realtime.

majiebeast1867d ago (Edited 1867d ago )

They just showed pre alpha-alpha gameplay in the video interview on the gameinformer website.

You be trolling dude!

Enemy1867d ago (Edited 1867d ago )

The released trailer is already confirmed to be real-time in-game engine. The fact that you even brought up Killzone 2 shows how little you know about The Order: 1886.
