Call of Duty: Ghosts - seven tweaks that make a surprisingly big difference | OXM UK

OXM UK: "I've expressed some pretty severe and wrathful doubts about Call of Duty single player in the past, and the latest game's campaign seems much the same creaky pantomime so far, but despite a deflating debut, I'm actually quite jazzed for the refinements you'll encounter in Call of Duty: Ghosts multiplayer - even the truly itty-bitty ones."

The story is too old to be commented.

What changes has that boring BF4 made to become better?

Who's talking about BF4? Nobody even mentioned BF4!

But if you want some of the innovative changes BF4 is making, how about Commander mode?

You get to play the game on any tablet as the Commander of the platoon, while Playing against the enemy commander. As Commander you are giving orders tot he squad leaders in your platoon, launching artillery strikes and Tomahawks, assigning enemy High Value Targets (HVT i.e. highlighting the enemy soldier who is demolishing your team with the most kills, so your platoon can hunt them down). As commander you can also launch UAV's to reveal enemy positions to your platoon, or launch electronic counter measures so the enemy commander can't do the same to you.

Wait, how about "Levolution", where the players can change the course of the battlefield by flooding a level, meaning you need boats to traverse the urban streets. Or bringing down a whole skyscraper...

Wait, wait, what about vehicle warfare - over land, air and sea? How about the multiplayer count, BF4 allows what 24 on current gen, 64 on next gen? How many does COD:Ghosts allow? What abouy the graphic in general.. etc etc...

Do I need to go on?

Bottom line. BF4 is doing alot more to "up it's game" than COD:Ghosts.

I'm personally excited to play this game. I haven't played black ops 2 in months and when ghosts comes out I'll never touch that piece of garbage again.
