The Best Gaming Laptops

Fall is here, and whether that means back-to-school or just a new slate of gaming releases just around the corner, it’s the perfect time for a new gaming PC. While you might be quick to build a big desktop box, there’s plenty of gaming laptops out there that offer the same performance but with less bulk and more portability. Here’s our favorites. (Alienware M17x, Apple, MSI, PC)

Gaming laptops . . .

are the best. I can play at work, on the go, and best of all, in my recliner or bed, tvym. They do take a back seat to desktops in the latest AAA game in graphics, but the compromise is worth it to me.

Well, actually I own both laptop and gaming desktop. When I want to see the pretty pixels I sit at my pc desk, but when my back gets sore or I want to be more comfortable, I head to the recliner with my gaming laptop.

has their pros and cons. Weight, heat and battery life and price tend to be their biggest cons.

With that said Alex Ruben pick some terrible choices. A Macbook Pro at almost 3K a terrible choice for a gaming laptop. I could buy me a gaming laptop and build me a gaming desktop with that kind of money.

I would've add Lenovo, Asus and Sager or Clevo to the list.

I know they have their place for gaming.
They just worry me.
Easily put . . .

What's the biggest issue with performance PC's? Heat.

Really incomplete list.. Anyways don't buy a Mac for gaming! I returned 2 macs cuz I thought the first one was defective it went to 103 degrees playing counterstrike 1.6... So instead I bought Asus g55 cheaper and way more powerful! ( it's amazing!)

And when i noticed the first MacBook getting really hot I took it to the apple Genius Bar (young high school kids with no education in computers i find out after) and they couldn't check the temps because they didn't have the tools for it! What a joke right? So I installed a trusted temp monitor and showed them .. They told me the temp monitor shouldn't be trusted but you could totally tell it was overheating just by touching it and hearing the fans!
