The DS doesn’t simply offer a lot of games; it has a lot of good games in virtually any genre you can imagine. Most people, like me, will be discovering fun titles on the DS well into the next generation of consoles. I will not pretend to be aware of every great game on the DS. Nonetheless, here are the five DS games I recommend the most.

Space opera fans deserve a chance to experience the vastness of Infinite Space, and Sega needs to make up for its mistake.
I still go back to Infinite Space from time to time. Probably the most underrated game I ever played.
After being benched for 20 years, and returning only to be forsaken again despite being a splendid game, it's time Kid Icarus gets salvation.
Pac-Pix launched in 2005 as a Nintendo DS exclusive, and deserves to make a comeback on modern touchscreen devices.
