Why no spinoff off iteration for Assassin's Creed III, plus Connor’s likeability

The Ezio trilogy brought three consecutive installments that helped established the Assassin's Creed franchise as one of the most popular, innovation series around. Surprisingly though, there was not a spinoff installment for Connor and Assassin's Creed III.

In an exclusive interview with Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag game director Ashraf Ismail, we asked him why there was no spinoff installment for Assassin's Creed III and if Connor's likeability had anything to do with why there wasn't another iteration for him. (Ashraf Ismail, Assassin's Creed III, PC, PS3, Wii U, Xbox 360)
