A.R.E.S. is a safe game. It doesn’t take any risks or bring anything new and exciting to the table. It even manages to end before it’s had the chance to at least be memorable by outstaying its welcome. Hardcore Gamer: ARES is an incredible Mega Man/Metroid hybrid, and its development team is returning with something a bit different. So Many Me is a puzzle-platformer starring Filo and his clones. Hardcore Gamer: Steam's week-long game sales can be a great way to catch up on games you might've missed out on over the past few years. The sale's biggest releases include ARES: Extinction Agenda for $2.50 instead of $10, or you can get the Complete Edition for 50 cents more and get an OST and some bonus suits.

ARES gave PC fans a taste of that style a couple of years ago, but gave it a twin stick shooter mechanic that allowed for more accurate aiming.
