Lone Survivor: Director's Cut Review: NOPE/10 is a Good Thing | GoozerNation

Ryan Johnson | GoozerNation

Most news sites ask for a specific review number or letter grade to make a quick and dirty assumption of everything a review has to offer. Ryan at GoozerNation has a completely different review for Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut: a NOPE/10. But, given his history with survival horror, this is surprisingly a good thing for this retro-inspired horror game. (Lone Survivor: The Director's Cut, PS Vita, PS3) -

I'm glad I waited to play this, getting it as soon as I get paid.

Honestly I'd rate this game higher than current Resident Evil and Silent Hill games; it has the good mix of both genres. One of those games you don't want to play right off but then don't want to put down.

The recent Silent Hill (Downpour) was actually pretty good, only hindered by the technical aspects of the game and the god awful combat system. It still retained the creepiness of Silent Hill
