Eidos Montreal reveals Deus Ex Universe and Directors Cut Details

Deus Ex Director’s Cut gets an October 22 release date on the Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. As mentioned at E3, next generation second screen and motion controls will feature heavily in this enhanced edition using Microsoft’s SmartGlass, Nintendo’s Wii U GamePad, and Sony’s PS Vita.

The story is too old to be commented.

I can't stand this second screen thing. Such nonsense. I mean I suppose it could be put to some intersting uses but come on, how expensive does this hobby need to be? Luckily I have a Vita, but many others don't. Also why can't they contain it to just videogames? I don't want to read a bunch of fluff novels and comics, they'll definitely suck, are pointless, and are blatant cash-ins.

I am however eagerly anticipating a new Deus Ex game. I still wish Warren Spector was on board though, he always said he had plenty more stories to tell in the Deus Ex universe.

I agree with you Gespenst that the second screen makes "little sense" on the PS3 (you at least have one), and "no sense" on Xbox360 smartglass.

However this was designed initially for the Wii U where it does make a lot of sense, as everyone has that second screen.

Haven't u seen the second screen trailor for Wii U? It is AMAZING. Day one for me. Second screen for me cleans up my TV screen. I like it.
